Tweeding
Tweeding, sometimes called blended needle or blended thread, is the use of two or more colours of thread in the needle at the same time. How the two colours should lie in relation to each other is up to you. Some people prefer to have each stitch look the same. Other people will let each colour fall how it may (subject to no twisting) from stitch to stitch.
