Like it but need more consistency

I'm partway along working on the Dog at this point, and it's going well. I like these designs a lot. The instructions are clear and easy to follow (although it seems like they were written for a kit version rather than just the pdf). My biggest concern is that the designs are somewhat uneven in elaborateness (as if they were created over a long period of time and the designer got more into the groove with experience). That makes it a little awkward to give as gifts to a couple, one of whom might get an elaborate animal and the other might get a much simpler one. That makes for awkward sets. I'm personally not fond at all of the Tiger design, and suggest the designer try another version.

Love it!

Easy to read and effective with as few colors as possible. I am looking forward to stitching all 12 of these so I can put them up for each new year.
