What do you get in the Kit?

Your Cross Stitch Kit includes an A4 sized Color Symbol Chart, Pre-sorted DMC threads, white Aida fabric, Needle/s, Metallic Kreinik thread (optional to use) and easy instructions.

How to use our Metallic Thread?

Exclusive to The Art of Stitch Kits, we provide about 2-6 metres of Kreinik Metallic Thread to add a shine to your finished work.

Colors are chosen by matching it to the most striking color in the design. Some designs even have more than 1 metallic shade like our bestselling Friendship kit!

How to use: Simply go over the full cross stitch with a strand of the matching thread to add a shimmer to that area.

You can also choose to replace a full x with a shiny metallic x for e.g you can do that for the Pearl earring on The Girl with the Pearl Earring.

14 or 18 count Aida?

14-count has 14 squares per inch and 18-count has 18 squares per inch. 14-count is the general favorite for beginners and 18-count is the smaller square. If you have stitched before, 18-count should be a breeze and the end result will be better as well. On 18-count, the design will be a few inches smaller.
