Selling your Cross Stitch

Did you know you can sell your finished cross-stitch projects? If you’re looking to earn some extra money, consider stitching a masterpiece and putting it up for sale on eBay or other platforms. While you can't distribute copies of our charts, you can definitely sell your completed cross-stitch work.

Here are a few tips to get you started:

1. Take Full Credit: When selling your cross-stitch, you don’t need to credit us. You did the hard work, so you deserve the recognition. If anyone asks where you got the pattern or kit, feel free to share.

2. Research Market Prices: On eBay, search for "Finished Cross Stitch" and check the sold listings to see what similar pieces are selling for. This will help you price your item appropriately.

3. Value Your Work: Don’t undervalue your effort. If your piece doesn’t sell after a month, you can always lower the price slightly. Since eBay offers about 50 free listings a month, you have plenty of opportunities to find the right buyer.

4. Create a Detailed Listing: Include important details in your listing such as the fabric count, size, whether it’s framed or unframed, and if it’s from a smoke-free home. Provide both a full image of the design and a close-up.

5. Promote Your Listing: Feel free to post your eBay link on our Facebook page. I’ll help promote your post in my Facebook groups, which are international, so be prepared to sell overseas. Advertising in our community can give your listing extra visibility.

By following these tips, you can turn your hobby into a source of extra income while sharing your beautiful work with others. Happy selling!
