The Soul of the Rose by John William Waterhouse, painted in 1908, is a stunning example of the artist's mastery in depicting themes of beauty, femininity, and nature. This enchanting artwork features a young woman, draped in flowing, ethereal garments, gently holding a rose against her cheek.

What is the skill level of this design?
What is the skill level of this design?
We don’t label our designs by skill level because we believe anyone can stitch them—thanks to our clear, easy-to-follow charts. With the exception of larger pieces like the 21" x 25" Nova Orbis Tabula, most of our kits are suitable even for beginners.
If you're new to cross stitch, you can use the size of the design as a guide: the larger the piece, the more time and dedication it may take. To ease in, try our bookmarks, minis, or circular kits. Medium-sized projects (around 11–14 inches) also make a great place to start!
Can I stitch on any fabric count?
Can I stitch on any fabric count?
Absolutely! You can stitch our designs on any fabric count, not just 14 or 18-count. The only changes will be the finished size and thread needed. If you need fabric or thread calculations for a different count, just let us know—we’re happy to help!

I received my kit today, along with a nasty surprise - over 25 euro in customs duties, It's written in the small print, but not at all obvious. This was an expensive mistake.
Hi Elaine, custom duties are the responsibility of the buyer's country. Every country has their own threshold of how much you can import for free before paying duties or taxes. Unfortunately this is something we cannot control as they are rules set by your own country. This information is not in fine print though. You can find under Need Help - Shipping - Import duties and taxes.
Gorgeous kit. Can't wait to work on it. Thank You!!
It is perfect! THANK you very much
