What is the skill level of this kit?

We have had a few requests from some customers to label our designs with their skill level i.e. beginner, intermediate or advanced. Whilst this would helpful to some, we feel that organizing our designs this way will impede your ability to try something new. Our designs are done with your comfort in mind, the symbols are clear and easy, the color blocks help, there are less confetti or none at all and they are so easy to read and refer to. Except for a handful huge endeavors such as Nova Orbis Tabula most of our designs are perfect for beginners or advanced stitchers.

14-count vs 18-count Aida?

The difference between 14-count and 18-count Aida fabric is in the size of the squares or holes, which directly impacts the level of detail and size of the final cross-stitch piece:

1. 14-count Aida: This fabric has 14 squares (or stitches) per inch. It is often recommended for beginners because the squares are larger, making it easier to see and work with. The finished design will be slightly bigger compared to 18-count.

2. 18-count Aida: This fabric has 18 squares (or stitches) per inch. Since the squares are smaller, the stitches will be tighter, resulting in a more detailed design. However, it might be more challenging to stitch on, especially for those with less experience. The finished design will also be slightly smaller than on 14-count Aida.

In summary, 14-count is larger and simpler, while 18-count offers more detail in a smaller size but can be more challenging to work with.

Is your design printed on fabric?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. All of our designs are Counted Cross Stitch, not stamped, so you will need to refer to the chart and stitch on a blank Aida fabric.

Customizations at your fingertips

We are so flexible that it's so easy to get the kit of your dreams! Prefer a black and white chart? or maybe you want to stitch this on 16-count fabric? We can only offer 14 and 18-count Aida but we are happy to give you enough floss for 16-count and not include the fabric at a discount! Let us know what you need and we will add your preference to the listing with price adjustments.

How fast is shipping?

We ship your order out within 1-2 days. Once shipped, delivery will take about 2-8 days via FedEx International Priority for most destinations.

I don't like what I ordered. Can I return it?

Of course, you can! You can return it for a full refund or do an exchange for materials. Orders are to be returned within 30 days of receipt and must be returned in its original sealed condition.

The only product we can't accept returns are Stitch a Photo orders as these are customized orders and PDF downloads.

Nasty surprise!

I received my kit today, along with a nasty surprise - over 25 euro in customs duties, It's written in the small print, but not at all obvious. This was an expensive mistake.

Hi Elaine, custom duties are the responsibility of the buyer's country. Every country has their own threshold of how much you can import for free before paying duties or taxes. Unfortunately this is something we cannot control as they are rules set by your own country. This information is not in fine print though. You can find under Need Help - Shipping - Import duties and taxes.
