Vase with Hollyhocks (1886) is a vibrant and joyful still life by Vincent van Gogh, painted during his time in Paris. This work is a part of his exploration of floral arrangements, where he delved into color, composition, and texture. The painting depicts a large vase filled with blooming hollyhocks, their tall, slender stems rising above the vessel in a burst of color.

14-count Aida: 14 stitches per inch; larger holes make it easier for beginners. Finished pieces are bigger.

18-count Aida: 18 stitches per inch; smaller holes give more detail but can be harder to work with. Finished pieces are smaller.

All of our designs are Counted Cross Stitch, not stamped, so you will need to refer to the chart and stitch on a blank Aida fabric.
