A Woman's Head by Leonardo da Vinci, also known as La Scapigliata or Head of a Woman, is an exquisite example of the artist's mastery in capturing human emotion and beauty. Created around 1506, this painting is characterized by its soft, ethereal quality and the delicate portrayal of the female figure.

Processing time:

14-count Aida: 14 stitches per inch; larger holes make it easier for beginners. Finished pieces are bigger.

18-count Aida: 18 stitches per inch; smaller holes give more detail but can be harder to work with. Finished pieces are smaller.

All of our designs are Counted Cross Stitch, not stamped, so you will need to refer to the chart and stitch on a blank Aida fabric.

Beautiful!

I have just completed this project on 22 count Aida and it is absolutely beautiful. I did this for myself and can't believe how lovely it was to work. A little harrowing because of the thread count but I stuck to it and now I'm going to get it framed. I've also got the mini Buddah to do and can't wait to get going on it. If you decide to do this just take your time and go area by area and it will flow along nicely.
