Ruby by Alphonse Mucha is one of four panels in his The Precious Stones series, created in 1900. Each piece in this Art Nouveau series personifies a gemstone, featuring elegant female figures that embody the unique essence of each stone. In Ruby, the central woman is surrounded by deep red hues and lush floral motifs that echo the intense color and symbolism of the ruby stone, which is often associated with passion and vitality.

14-count Aida: 14 stitches per inch; larger holes make it easier for beginners. Finished pieces are bigger.

18-count Aida: 18 stitches per inch; smaller holes give more detail but can be harder to work with. Finished pieces are smaller.

All of our designs are Counted Cross Stitch, not stamped, so you will need to refer to the chart and stitch on a blank Aida fabric.
